"Found this spot a couple weeks ago, and we've been back for lunch every day since. Having tried the homemade meatloaf sandwich, shredded chicken sandwich, rodeo burger, and many others, I can say that everything Linda has to offer is delicious. Highly recommended!"
"Worlds most pleasant woman running a food truck off the road in south windsor. she has picnic tables. she has a portapotty. she has plenty of parking. shes open year round. she has daily homemade meals on top of her standard menu. (the shredded chicken sandwich with bacon was a delight) she makes phenomenal 'ranger' cookies that she dispenses in little ziplock bags. I dont live in the area but if i did I would frequent her establishment on the weekly. Highly recommended. Dont miss Lindas Pit Stop if youre in the area. CASH ONLY AS IT SHOULD BE. BE PREPARED."
"As small as it is, Linda's pit stop has delicious food and a parking haven for truckers like me (fits about 3-4 semis). She pays for and maintains the space. So please don't litter. The shredded chicken sandwich was absolutely yummy. She only takes hard cash though. Will definitely come again."
"Nice ladies run this food truck. The owner is a former chef at a couple of really nice local restaurants. Now she has her dream to run her business. I stopped in for an excellent breakfast sandwich. Service was super fast and the ladies are wonderful. Highly recommended. Easy access on U.S. Route 5 in front of the KF Brick Factory."
"Make the U-turn to stop in, good fresh food. Extremely friendly operator. Fair prices & daily specials. Plenty of parking for big trucks too."
"This place is AMAZING! I went there yesterday from out of town. There were two locals there so I asked what was good options to try. I love mom and pop places and try always to support local businesses. I got multiple things to try since my boyfriend would be trying them with me. I ordered the shredded chicken sandwich, pickle crunch burger, and the Linda pit dog. They were amazing! We are back today to get more. We tried the pulled pork today, a few Linda pit dogs, pickle crunch burger, and tuna salad. Her cookies are to die for! They are amazing. Too bad we live in central NY I'd be here daily. It is cash only for people wanting to try. I can't wait till the next time! I knew it was going to be a great place when I heard the locals descibing her food. I'd drive a long way for this food. If your in the area or need a pit stop off the high way this is the place to go! I'd give her a 20 star review! Just down right amazing!"
"This is the place to get a fresh bite to eat. Everything's made fresh to order. Linda Souza the owner is a Veteran. She has home made chili ,home fries,a Ultimate breakfast sandwich on a grilled kaiser roll egg, sausage bacon, ham cheese. Loved it, Friday is pulled pork . This sandwich has pulled pork coleslaw on a grilled kaiser roll. She sells out fast so call a head and its grab and go. You will be happy you stopped."
"Linda's Put Stop is by far not only the Best Food but the Best Value on Rt 5. Everything is homemade, the portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. Linda is a strong woman with a great sense of humor who does love to laugh and clearly loves her customers. Be aware that parking does require courtesy as many truck drivers know how amazing her food is. I've been eating her food for several years now. Her Home made meatloaf on Wednesdays is the best you'll find anywhere and Pulled Pork Friday is also not to be missed. Everything she makes is made with love from the best freshest breakfast sandwich to custom made Steak and cheese sandwiches. Her home ade Chili will warm your bones on a cold winter day! New first time customers are treated to free home made Ranger cookies. Once you try one you'll want them everytime. Linda's Pit Stop is Cash Only. If she accepted credit cards I'd be 30 lbs heavier easily."
